On 15–17 October 2025, Anna Pawlus and Joanna Kartasiewicz represented ICTER and TRIO-Vi project in Porto for the first time at the 4th Teaming Club Conference entitled “Delivering effective strategies for long-term sustainability.” The event brought together nearly 50 Centres of Excellence created through the EU’s Teaming for Excellence programme.
Alongside colleagues from the European Commission and European Research Executive Agency (REA), discussions are zeroing in on what matters most after EU funding ends:
• sustaining world-class research infrastructure,
• attracting and retaining international talent,
• turning innovation into real-world impact.
We were proud to showcase ICTER and our project TRIO-Vi CoE. Several teams approached us immediately about collaboration – a living proof that translational eye research resonates across disciplines.
It’s great to join such a prestigious club.
